As a devout Catholic, Haydn was inspired by the magnificent and convincing Handel (Messiah) of the oratorio of Germany, which motivated him to compose "the creation of heaven and earth" and the "Four Seasons" in 1798. [1]


This "Four Seasons" was completed in April 1801, and was premiered three times on April 24, 27 and May 1. He wrote the poem "Four Seasons" of the English poet J. Thompson as the Baron Schubit's move to German.
