Composition of movements
1 movement
Allegro con brio, D major 4/4 beat, sonata form. The first theme begins with the viola's Forte. The melody of the piano and the violin progresses alternately. The second theme is presented by the piano from 43 bars. The power generation section changes to the F major, and the recurrence section changes to the D major.
2 movements
Theme con variazioni. Andante con moto, A major 2/4 beat. It consists of 32 subject and 4 variations. The theme is presented by the piano first, and the first variation is the piano on the accompaniment of the violin. The second variation progresses to the center of the violin. The third variation is the piano when the violin begins with the A major. The fourth variation is changed into A major.
3 movements
Rondo. Allegro, D major 6/8, and A-B-A-C-A-B-Coda. The first theme (A) is presented by the piano and the second theme (B) starts with violin from 40 words. From the 77th segment, the violin plays the third theme (C) of the F major.
